Basqvium – Food, Culture and Luxury Experiences focuses on the development of projects that promote interculturality and economic and business activity mainly between the Basque Country and other regions all around the world. It works different areas such as culture, gastronomy and tourism, always oriented to the premium sector.
Basqvium has been specializing in both, events and activities related to gastronomy and wine tourism, since Basque gastronomy has proven to be the best reference on Basque Country with a certain positioning in foreign markets within the target of high-power clients purchasing.
Outstanding actions carried out include:
- Organization of Fam Trips and gastronomic fusion events in the Basque Country.
- Attraction of luxury / premium events to the Basque Country.

BASQUE GASTRO-EMBASSIES AROUND THE WORLD
Creation of international Basque Gastro-embassies in cities identified as gastronomic hubs, as centers for the dissemination of our gastronomic culture.
As a result of the agreement with local businessmen, these gastro-embassies would allow to have a fixed place in which carry out different types of promotional activities, showcookings, tastings and training activities.
The first example of that, is the project launched in Singapore, in collaboration with one of the largest hostelry groups in the city for the exploitation of The Alkaff Mansion as a center for Basque gastronomy in Singapore.
The Alkaff Mansion has a stunning setting on a hill in town. It is a colonial mansion from the 19th century with large gardens and it has three different gastronomic spaces, among which is the first permanent pintxo bar in Singapore.
