Campa del Basarrate, Bilbao
The redevelopment of the Campa de Basarrate demonstrates how sustainability can be integrated in a visible and tangible way into public spaces. The use of Eco-Grey® concrete, manufactured from recycled raw materials, incorporates circularity principles into the project and reinforces Bilbao’s commitment to becoming a more responsible and resilient city. Through features such as the Boxland modular benches and the Kanji benches, the project combines material innovation, accessibility and urban quality, transforming the square into an example of how design can actively contribute to the transition towards more sustainable environments.
Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Barajas (T4)
Escofet’s project at Terminal 4 of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport illustrates how design helps to enhance the experience within large-scale infrastructure. The incorporation of elements such as the Lena and Cónica planters, the GEN and SERP benches, the Quake and Prisma lighting, and the Play fountain brings comfort, greenery and environmental quality to an environment of constant footfall. This combination of solutions helps to create a calmer atmosphere, reinforce the space’s identity and place people at the heart of the airport experience.
